Vintage Bird Cage Victorian Metal Wood Wedding Decorative Planter Shabby Chic

  

This is for a wonderful fancy Vintage and Unique very large Architectural Victorian Styled Metal and Wood hand crafted Bird Cage. The piece is white with "chippy" paint that was touched up at some point as the color varies.

This has a Victorian / French Country / Cottage shabby chic vibe. This could be used as a wedding decoration with added flowers and bows or placed in the yard for an accent decoration. The piece was hand crafted and is styled in the form of a large building with the wire dome and wooden arches. The piece has a large center dome with a wood finial and 2 small arches on the sides with metal bars through out connecting the wood pieces. The piece has a metal ring for hanging and a small door on the front.

I believe this was actually used for holding a bird but with the opening so small seems would be hard to clean and the door doesn't close completely. This is very large measuring: 35 inches (37 with the hanging ring) x 31 inches wide x 16.5 inches deep. This is a decorative piece, and would not use for a real bird with the issues of paint chipping and door not completely closing. All items are vintage and if more then normal age appropriate use / condition issues - then it will shown in the listing / pictures.
