Shabby chic farmhouse curtain vintage from France 1940s yellow pink red design
Welcome to The Textile Trunk! Please follow us on Instagram! The ground tone is a creamy off white and the bouquets of flowers that are printed on this lovely fabric are printed in shades of light yellow, daffodil yellow, mustard, raspberry, light pink, medium and light green and some sky blue.
This panel is two lengths of fabric seamed together and there is a ruffle on the right. The selvage is present on the left side where there is no ruffle - and the selvage is printed with D.
This curtain is so pretty, and such a lovely large size too! The top is pleated where it had been hung as a curtain.
This panel would be lovely hung again as a curtain or would be stunning used for pillows, light upholstery, etc. At the time of listing this piece, we have the other half of this curtain set!
The top measures approximately 41 inches wide where it's pleated, but measures approximately 57 inches wide at the bottom where the fabric is not pleated. Please note that a piece of the bottom left corner of this curtain was removed (see photos) so there is a piece approximately 20 by 25 inches missing at the bottom; see photos for more detail CONDITION: This wonderful fabric is in as found, not freshly laundered condition for collectors. It could be machine washed on gentle, or washed by hand, and hung to dry. Please note that a piece of the bottom left corner of this curtain was removed (see photos) so there is a piece approximately 20 by 25 inches missing at the bottom; see photos for more detail. There are some small marks that may or may not wash out, but it should wash just beautifully!
