Omg Amazing Antique Memory Jug/lamp. Folk Art At It's Best. Shabby Cottage Chic

Today for your consideration is a very old & very sweet folk art HOMEMADE TABLE TOP GLASS JUG LAMP/LIGHT. I wish I could put up 100 more pictures but you probably would not see everything anyway.

The jewelry looks to be around 1930's to 1940s. The cord also indicates 1930-40s when the light part was added.

Bought 20 years ago at a high end Estate sale. They disliked it & was only kept in the family because someone they knew made it for them way back in the day. I however fell in love the moment I saw it!! Now as far as condition goes. As you can see it works perfectly. The cord has a cream colored bakelite plug in, again approximately 1930's ish.

There are a few missing pieces probably bumped off over all these years. Anyway, the glue or whatever the person who made this used is black in color. Some of my favorites are American Flag, big PINK round stone/glass/Rhinestone or what ever, near the base, the tiny enameled pink rose, At least 2 real goldstone pieces, all the arora borealis rhinestones the art deco looking cooper & red enameled button, the huge hand painted porcelain pink rose's oval shaped piece on the back by the cord. A huge round smokey quartz looking one by the base of the neck.

A lot of love went into this piece of art! If you love shabby & quirky homemade folk art then you will probably love this lamp as much as I have. Without ANY box or bubble wrap & packing materials. Please feel free to ask lots of questions & or request more pictures. The harp is added & works fine but not original.
