Gorgeous Antique Shabby Cottage Floral Roses Tied Comforter Quilt Pink Red

  
Absolutely beautiful antique/vintage hand made floral comforter quilt. Gorgeous lush huge roses in marvelous hues ranging from pink, coral, red with hints of violet when you look closely.

Olive green type foliage and red cotton binding and back. The ground is a natural or ecru tone. I believe the batting may be a blanket. Heavier but so soft and cozy and very romantic in it's nuance.

Not certain my photos do this amazing little piece justice. Can be displayed in so many ways, even on a chair or sofa, day bed etc... Rolled at the ned of a bed or hung behind a bed is also quite charming.

About the 1930's, possibly into the 40's. Measures aprox 63" wide by 80" long.

Made with 2 long pieces of lovely roses cotton sewn together. Condition is wonderful for it's age and appears overall clean and well maintained.

Not certain if it was ever used. The inner filling lays nicely as well.
